" Off the Rack " Logic ...

There's only so much display space at the big box golf stores.

The club manufactures (Ping, Calaway, Nike etc.) cannot afford to create personalized clubs for display on the walls for you to have a complete choice of shaft flexes, grips and swingweights. That's just plain smart economics and still trying to do the best for the customer without going overboard. It's not perfect, just effective.

Those " off the rack " clubs were designed by the big manufacturers for an average person. There's nothing wrong with that unless you're taller or shorter than 5'9" and a 35" length from your wrist to the floor. Any differences ( i.e. taller or shorter ... longer or shorter arms ... anything not average in your swing speed (~85mph) etc. ), and automatically there's a problem with the lie of the face of the club. It's not what you need it to be and possibly the shaft flex is limiting your distance, based on your swing speed.

Is it wise to purchase clubs that may limit your success? We'd suggest paying less, receiving more (our advertising budget is very low) and being fitted to achieve your best game possible and make it all fun again.

All the pros are paid to use different brands of clubs ... That's called marketing ... and Nike pays Tiger millions each year to play that brand. In the end run, someone's got to pay for that, and it's not Nike, believe me.

Every pro has their clubs manipulated to match their physical characteristics such as swing speed, grip size and length of arms etc ..... That's called " fitting ", so they can use them successfully ...

You'll never find a pro using an " off the rack " club in his game ... It's always fitted ... Every Time!

Q: What do my customers and the PGA/CPGA professionals have in common?

A: They all use fitted clubs

What can we do to help?

Club Grouping recommendations ....

A Golf Club set example :

  • Driver at more than 9 degrees Let's say a 10.5 ~ 15 degree for more height

  • A couple of Fairway Woods (3 and 5)

  • A High lofted Hybrid to use when the fairway is a little deeper than you want

  • Iron set from either 3 to SW (3,4,5,6,7,8,9,PW,SW)
OR, a shortened set from 5 to SW

OR add another hybrid to your bag and lose the 3,4,5 irons

  • Add a perfect club for those times when you're in the deep fringe and afraid to use the PW (we call it the fringe magical chipper / putting club)

  • A Putter in the design you want that matches your style of putting

PLUS : Have every club professionally fitted to your style, speed, strength and height AND guaranteed TO BE PERFECT FOR YOU or we'll take it back and make things right.

( just so we're straight, no, we don't cover you breaking it against a tree or throwing it into the water. We will repair it when broken from your mistakes, but not for free ... we will make adjustments until you're happy with the product for free ... but don't worry, it's a mute point, as you'll never be angry again on the course using clubs that make golf fun again (Great Big Smile Right Here)

  • A Full 14 clubs with matched flex shafts and grips, professionally MOI fitted just for you.

(that includes the driver and fairway woods and Hybrid and Irons, as well as a putter and our magical chipper)

Why would you pay more for less clubs?  Just to pay for their advertising budget?
You can get a comparable, full set, for less than their irons alone cost? Whose advertising budget would you rather pay for, Tigers or mine?

Get fitted (you know this just became a no-brainer, don't you?)

Here's a major Box store advertising as of March 20th, 2010

Driver (Nike SQ MachSpeed STR8-FIT Driver) 369.99
Nike SQ MachSpeed Combo Irons Steel   3-4 hybrid, 5 to PW Irons (Steel Shaft) @ 799.99
With Graphite Shafts @ $999.99 (1129.98 out the door),
Fairway woods ~ 229.95, Wedge ~ 129.95, Putter ~ 99.99

Add that up to resemble our proposed set and the total (out the door) is: $2,067.75 (and you're still not fitted). Our cost to you, including the fitting, is under $800 including graphite shafts. That leaves $1267 left over to spend on green fees or the 19th hole.

Get fitted (you know this just became a no-brainer, don't you?)

AGAIN ... Why would you pay more to hit a ball the same distance?

Buy theirs and yes, you'll have a set of NIKE's in your bag. Your clubs will look really shiny and impressive. We have shiny and impressive as well, just not NIKE ....

Our customers have achieved improvment.
They've at least eliminated the " equipment being wrong " problem and can now maximize their abilities. Whether breaking 80 or 100, they enjoy the game more now, because success is fun.

Think this through for a second ....
Personally, I can't imagine paying more than necessary for anything when both things can do the same job. It has to be " Demonstrably better " to pay more than necessary. Hitting the ball the same distance for twice the price doesn't make sense to me.

Everything is made in China or Taiwan anyways. It's not like you're supporting a Canadian Manufacturer anymore is it? All the major golf companies in the world make their product offshore ... every one of them is foreign made.

Can you afford to throw your money away so Tiger can feel better?

Dam decisions eh! (LOL)
