What's so difficult about hitting a ball in a straight line?

Nothing, if you hit it right .... outside elements aside, like cleat marks, it goes where you hit it ....

So, if I hit it right, it should go in?

Yes, that's correct ... If you aim it right, hit it right, have the proper speed, it should go in.

But sometimes it doesn't ... or better worded ... most times I two putt (at least) every hole

You need the fundamentals explained ...
allow us to help you aim properly and hit it right with just 1 lesson

Plain Common Sense:

This is not rocket science, we're hitting a stable, stationary object, that's perfectly round, with a stick, that has a perfectly flat side, (that's been milled to perfection and cost a lot of money) into a hole that's 4.25 inches wide and we still miss!

Admit, finally, these 2 facts ....

1st ...       You need to make sure your putter is right for you and has the proper loft and lie and length so it rests flat on the ground with a comfortable stance.

So Logical step #1 is to get your putter sitting flat on the ground. We adjust the lie angle to match your height and natural stance. We do this for free ..... with that, at least you're aiming correctly ...

and 2nd ... You may need to learn how to aim and how to swing a putter.

You know it's a different stroke than a Driver or a 5 Iron, and you've been taught those swings. Were you ever taught how to putt or did you just pick it up? Learn properly, and your game will improve drastically.

Give yourself a break and quit beating yourself up. We can help

Heck, it may be as simple as a lie adjustment, as shown above, rather than your stroke and aim.

Sometimes it is the arrow and not the archer ! You need to make sure !

Right now and for a limited time period, we're offering a free putter fitting to see what might be wrong !

This is a level putter face with a 4 degree loft with the face aimed directly at the target

Notice the straight rod coming from the face

With the wrong lie, but still keeping the face towards the target,
The Toe is up and the heel is down

Notice the direction line has changed and your direction is now to the left of the hole

WHY?

Because of the loft angle of the face as shown to the left. (Click for a larger image)

If your clubface is not level with the ground, then you're direction will be different from where you aimed, no matter what. This is because of the way the club is designed and there's nothing you can do to aim better at the hole.

This time it really is the arrow and not the archer .....
A Premier Golf Simulation & Fitting Centre in Calabogie, Ontario, Canada
